It turned out much better than I had hoped and I have to say that I am quite proud of myself!

I didn't do a proper job of painting it. I really should have sanded and primed the cabinets before painting but the primer we had was old (and dried solid) and I was anxious to get started so I applied a lot of coat of paint and hoped that it sticks. If they were cabinets to the kitchen or the other bathrooms (that actually gets used daily) I would have put forth the extra effort. This bathroom doesn't get a lot of use so I think I'll be okay.

It's not completely done. I still have to level out the doors so that they're even and I would also love to put some pretty knobs on there. But, I'm excited that it's turquoise and I feel so accomplished and inspired I'm already thinking about what color to paint the other cabinets. I'm thinking gray for my bathroom... maybe a light shade of yellow?
